🇬🇧 UK Gundog Trainer of The Year 2019 🇬🇧

I am absolutely blown away to announce I have been awarded The Keith Erlandson Memorial Trophy for the UK Gundog Trainer of The Year 2019 sponsored by the Countrymans Weekly. I am so proud to have achieved such a prestigious award. To have gained recognition for my own training methods and for all the help I have given to clients and their gundogs over the years

After years of successfully training my dogs for the field, I set about turning my hobby into a full time career as a gundog trainer, in 2009 I took the plunge and have never looked back. I wanted to offer Novice handlers the opportunity to have a well trained Gundog for the shooting field, whether for beating, picking up, on peg or rough shooting, as well as having a loyal companion by their side. By drawing on my own experience working spaniels and retrievers, I was able to share my knowledge with handlers new to gundog training. My passion for Gundogs has grown ever since, taking my training one step further competing in field trials, gaining Field Trial Awards over working Cockers and Springers.

I’m am forever grateful to my clients who unknowingly to me, nominated and voted. It is an immense surprise & compliment & without you all, I wouldn’t have been able pursue my dreams of turning my hobby into a full time career all those years a go - I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

The Keith Erlandson Memorial Trophy is absolutely stunning and to see my name alongside fellow trainers who I respect and look up to is truly a honour. I’m also so proud to be the owner of the most beautiful bronze sculpture mounted on wood gifted from some of my clients, a keepsake I will forever cherish - again I thank you all!! 🐶❤️
